What I’m Reading

Here’s a quick list of books that are on my plate.

Finished: Linchpin: Are You Indispensable? by Seth Godin

Review: Seth is a god to some and I can see why. This is the first book I read of his and I really appreciate his point of view on life and business. Easy read that helps frame the right mind set needed to be a key player anywhere and not just a cog in some wheel.

Reading: How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia: A Novel by Mohsin Hamid

Review: I’m only a few chapters in but so far I like it. I can’t for the life of me remember where I heard of this book but I bought it immediately. Will report back when I get further.

Up next: Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers by Tim Ferriss

Review: Well I haven’t started the book but I’m too deep into this post to change the format. Tim Ferriss is a god to some, just like Seth, and I am one of his many followers. I should see if they make a Tim Ferriss tree ornament for next year. His podcasts are great and his experimental approach to life is just fun to watch. This will take a few months to finish based on the size but I’m happy to take the journey.

Have you read any of these? Have any recommendations for me?

  1. I’m also reading How to Get Filthy Rich in Rising Asia, although I’m balancing it with like 3 other books so I’ve only gone through the first chapter or so. I’ve read another book by Mohsin Ahmed, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, which was very very good.
